Meet Melissa and Mario Bellomo!
Mario and Melissa will be running the Chicago Marathon, their FIRST marathon ever, on October 10, 2010 and have decided to dedicate their training and run to local families affected by autism! They are busy in the community training, hosting events, and just raising awareness for The Great Lakes Center for Autism! The Great Lakes Center for Autism is once again teaming up with The Glass City Marathon to support local programs that serve families affected by autism! Great Lakes Center for Autism is MOVING!
We are in the process of moving to our new location located at 2040 West Central Ave. in the old ProMedica Children's Development Center!As part of their commitment to the community and the autism collaborative, ProMedica has donated the use of this building to The GLCA, the Toledo Children's Hospital Early Intervention Program, The Self Reliance After School Program, and other community programs that support families affected by autism.
We will officially be moved in September so stop back for updates on our new location as well as all of the new programs happening in our community!
