Camp Courageous, Inc. fosters socialization, independence and educational opportunities through a community based outdoor recreational program for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our overall objective is to improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities, through an array of outdoor recreational programs including overnight and day camps for individuals of all ages with special needs. Campers have access to aquatics, arts and crafts, sports, recreation and leisure programs, nature activities, horticultural activities, cookouts and campfires. The camp season is not limited to the summer months. The core overnight camp for children and adults with disabilities operates for nine consecutive weeks in June, July and August. We also offer spring, late summer and fall respite weekends for our campers. Our facilities are ideal for group outings, retreats, seminars and school field trips.
