2010 GATB Fund Recipients
Congratulations to 2010 GATB Fund Recipients!
Agility Angels- received $12,000 to assist in program expenses and scholarship money for families who are unable to pay monthly fees for the program
Assistance Dogs of America - received $3,300 to assist in providing one child with autism a therapy dog
Autism Model School - received $13,000 to be used for scholarship money for the after school program as well as for iPads for Model students and $2,800 of computer equipment.
Autism Society of Northwest Ohio - received $15,000 to assist in covering program costs and additional clerical help
Bittersweet Farms - received $7,200 to assist with their vocational assessment program
CHIP Program - received $10,000 to be used for scholarship money for their program.
Geary Family YMCA - received $4,000 for their aquatics program
Goodwill Industries - received $3,000 to provide dance lessons to Model students as a way to socially engage students
Lucas County Educational Service Center - received $5,000 for their aquatics program
Seneca Autism Learning and Support Association (S.A.L.S.A) - received $3,000 to assist in their programs that provide family support
Tiffin City Schools - received $3,500 to assist in training staff and purchasing new material for students
Toledo Hearing and Speech - received $2,000 to update OT/Speech and fine motor skills equipment
The University of Toledo Center for Excellence in Autism - received $10,500 to provide scholarship money and assessment tools
